With entry to the digital era, the availability of more and more digital products is affecting peoples' daily lives, including the way students learn. Unlike their predecessors, students now have many opportunities to take advantage of digital technology and its use is clearly an issue which needs to be addressed.

This paper investigates how different kinds of learners in this digital age choose their study methods, and ways of acquiring knowledge, as well as changes in their learning behaviours and efficiency in various contexts. It also examines how the capacity of digital technology can be combined with conventional study methods in the most interesting and effective way to increase students' motivation for learning and their attainment.
